My name is Bucky Schwarz and I'm a 26 year old web developer living in Cary, North Carolina. I've been developing websites of varying complexity since 2000, when I made my first foray into web development and design: a gaming website built entirely in Flash 5. I received my degree in Computer Science from the Florida State University in 2006 and started web development professionally soon after. I moved to North Carolina from Orlando, Florida in late 2008.

I live with my girlfriend fiance; my dog Lando; my technologically-gifted geek friend, Adam; and my cat. The cat is obnoxious. She likes to make obnoxious cat noises and then move from the easily-cleaned linoleum floor to the carpet to throw up. The hound, however, is amazing. FACT: he's the greatest dog to come along since man domesticated wolves. I enjoy reading, although the last four books I've read have been nonfiction related to Software Engineering. I'll always be a gamer, having been snared by the evil geniuses over at Nintendo the first time I played Super Mario Bros. I also enjoy music and photography, as well as motoring, as it were. I hate writing blurbs about myself because I always feel pretentious or snarky. Snarktentious.

I currently develop with ColdFusion, PHP, Flex, Ruby and C#. I'm absolutely smitten by the jQuery. I've started playing around with OpenGL and C++ again, and I'm trying to get into XNA development with C#.

This is my second redesign of my site, the first one happening in October, 2008. I wasn't really happy with the first redesign, so I set out to change it; hence: this.
